![]() Hi. I'm Panda. I'm 25. I live in Wisconsin. I have black hair, green eyes, and - oh hell, I'll just show you. Ta-da! Miraculous, I know. (If the picture didn't clarify, I'm female. No Y Chromosome to be found here. Here there be dragons, X marks the spot, I ride the red tide, ♀, so on and so forth into continuum. NEXT! I'm currently 8 months pregnant with my first child! Little Pandoo (noooo, that's not her real name XD), my darling baby girl, is due to arrive December 30th! I can't explain how excited I am. I can't wait until she's here and I can hold her in my arms! I've had an amazing outpouring of support throughout my pregnancy from friends and family - more than I could have ever expected. My parents are backing me 100% and helping me any way I need it. The baby's father isn't interested in accepting his responsibility and actually moved across the country to avoid child support, so I'll be doing the single Mom thing. I will love her and cherish her and take care of her until my very last breath. I'll do everything I can to make up for his voluntary absence from her life. If I do it right, she will never think about him. I'll be all she needs and wants. :) (Plus, there's always the possibility that I'll meet Prince Charming and he'll be a better father than James could ever dream of being! -wink-) I enjoy reading. ...That's not to say that I'm a bookworm, because getting me to sit still long enough to read a book is akin to convincing me to remain motionless long enough for you to pull out each of my eyelashes one by one. However, there are a few scattered times when a book recommendation will catch my eye and I'll indulge it. The problem is this: when I finally settle into a book, you may as well have stapled it's cover to my palm because there's no getting me away from it. Nathan Fillion himself could jaunt into my bedroom in his skivvies, looking to have an evening of making out and watching movies, and I'd tell him to come back after I'd finished a few more chapters. (Well... Maybe that's a harsh comparison. >:D ) I love video games, probably more than is entirely healthy. I spend the majority of my free time either on the computer immersed in WoW, L4D or Audiosurf. I have a PS2 with a boatload of games (which include my PS1 games), a N64 (with only ONE game [THE game of the N64] - Zelda: Ocarina of Time) and a SNES (with two games - Final Fantasy VI and... uh... The Lion King). I'm ashamed to say that I don't have an X-Box (360 or otherwise), a PS3, a Nintendo DS or a Wii. Someday when I win the lottery I will have all consoles and all games ever made, EVER... But until that day, I'll have to settle for what I have. ...Damn it all. My circle of friends is small but hearty. I wouldn't trade a single one of them for anything on this Earth. They're very good to me and I couldn't ask for a better blessing. My Family is much the same way. We're a large and scattered bunch, but when the chips are down there's no one I'd rather have on my side than my Mother, Father and my Brother. I associate myself with great people so I may be inspired to be great, too. I love animals. Call it a soft spot of mine, but I'd sooner shoot a human in the foot than hurt an innocent animal. My cat is like my son, in a weird way. He follows me from room to room and always talks to me. (Of course I talk back, because not doing so would be incredibly rude and inconsiderate.) It's rare when he doesn't curl up in my bed at night when I'm readying myself for sleep. I think that he may be a dog trapped in a cat's body, however - he comes when he's called, he loves water and he's very protective of me. Cute, kind, fuzzy animals rock my socks off. I thoroughly enjoy intelligent people. I really despise idiots. I really like artists. I passionately hate drugs. I find comfort in those with open minds. I'm frustrated around the stubborn. I like both Coke and Pepsi. I support gay rights and same-sex marriages. I firmly believe video games do not warp children, but bad parenting does (get involved for crying out loud). I'm broke 90% of the time, but somehow life keeps handing me miracles and I manage to make it with either luck or a little help from my friends (yes, that was a shameless Beatles reference). |
Every year, hundreds of thousands of baby harp seals are clubbed to death mercilessly to sell their pelts.
Please learn what you can do to make your voice heard and help stop this monstrous behavior.
